We collect different types of personal information depending on whether you are a User (someone requesting roadside assistance), a Driver (a person who provides assistance), or a Service Provider (a company/partner that supports the Service).

For Users

  • Full name, phone number, email address
  • Payment details (processed securely via third-party gateways)
  • Billing address
  • Vehicle make/model
  • Vehicle registration number, service location or pickup/drop-off information

For Drivers

  • Full name, phone number, and email address
  • Driving license and driver’s insurance policy
  • Real-time location while performing services

For Service Providers

  • Full Name
  • Mobile Number
  • Email
  • Years of Experience
  • Business Registration Certificate
  • Company Insurance Policy
  • Business Address

Location Data

Real-time location is collected during active service requests for dispatch and operational efficiency.

Background location tracking (with explicit permission) is used for ETA accuracy, route optimization, and driver accountability.

Usage & Device Data

App usage logs, crash reports, device type, OS version, browser type, and IP address are collected.

How We Use this Information

  • To deliver real-time roadside assistance
  • To track and fulfill service requests
  • To process secure payments
  • To communicate updates, receipts, service alerts, and promotional offers
  • To improve system functionality and support
  • To ensure safety, fraud prevention, and policy compliance

We do not sell your personal data to third-party marketers. Your information is shared only with authorized personnel and trusted service partners, solely for the purpose of delivering and supporting the services you request.

All service partners and drivers are bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements.

Your Rights and Choices

As a U.S. user, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

Access

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. To help us locate your records, please include your full name, the email or phone number associated with your account, and any account or order IDs if available. We will respond to verifiable requests within 30 days.

Deletion

You can delete your account directly in the app without needing to request support. Below are the steps to delete an account:

  1. Launch App – Open the application on your device.
  2. Login – Sign in using your correct credentials.
  3. Homepage – Once logged in, you will be redirected to the homepage.
  4. Go to Account Tab – On the navigation bar, tap on the Account tab.
  5. My Account Screen – By clicking on the account tab, you will be redirected to the My Account screen.
  6. More Options – On the My Account screen, click on the More button.
  7. Delete Account Option – On the More screen, you will find the Delete Account option.
  8. Confirm Deletion – Click on Delete Account. Once you provide confirmation, your account will be deleted.

Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as required for operational, legal, and audit purposes. After that, it is anonymized or securely deleted.

Important Information About Data Retention

When you delete your account, it will be removed from active systems within 30 days.

However, certain information may be retained if necessary for legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or legitimate business purposes.

Examples of when data may be retained include:

  • Completing a pending transaction.
  • Preventing fraudulent activities.
  • Complying with a legal hold or investigation.

After such requirements are fulfilled, the retained data will also be permanently deleted.

Please note that the DriveRescue Platform stores your data with the cloud platform of Amazon Web Services (AWS) provided by Amazon Web Services, Inc., which may store this data on their servers located in the United States (California Region).

  • Documents/Files are stored in: California Region [AWS].
